Whipping Cream Pound Cake

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 pt whipping cream
  1. Cream together sugar and butter.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add alternatively, while blending, the whipping cream and flour.
  3. Add vanilla and continue to blend.
  4. Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
  5. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours. (put in a cold oven, do not preheat).
