- 1.5 oz cognac
- 0.5 oz rum
- 4 oz Wassail batch (Can serve cold as well as hot)
Garnish with apple slices or cranberries
Wassail batch:
- 1 qt apple cider
- 2 cups unsweetened pomegranate juice
- 0.25 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh OJ
- 0.75 cup fresh lemon juice
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp whole cloves
- 1 tsp whole allspice
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium- low heat.
- Cook for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
