Grandma’s Eggnog

  • 6 eggs
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tall cans (13 f oz each) PET evaporated milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons vanilla
  • Rum
  • Nutmeg and/or cinnamon
  1. Beat eggs, sugar and salt in 3 quart mixing bowl.
  2. Mix in evaporated milk, cream, vanilla and rum.
  3. Chill. Pour into punch bowl. Sprinkle with nutmeg and/or cinnamon.

Yields: 2 quarts
